A House of Timeless Heritage
The Merzendorfer Heritage House is one of the few preserved historic residences on Fischamend’s main square and has belonged to the same family for more than seven generations.
During the imperial era, the house became renowned far beyond Fischamend through the traditional restaurant operated by Hermine Merzendorfer, affectionately remembered as “Frau Sacher von Fischamend”. Over the decades, the establishment welcomed distinguished guests, aristocrats, and notable personalities of the Austro-Hungarian period, becoming a celebrated place of hospitality and social life.
Today, while the restaurant itself belongs to the past, the spirit of the house lives on through a refined collection of exclusive heritage apartments, where centuries of history meet contemporary comfort near Vienna International Airport.
